Teaching approach
My name is Elise and I am passionate about teaching French to foreigners.
I graduated with a Master FLES (French foreign and second language), I have over 10 years of experience and I want to answer the needs of foreigners present in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez in search of quality courses.
10 years ago, I started giving my first courses in Nice and at the C.M.E.F in Cap d’ail (06). This helped me to adopt in my classes an action oriented perspective and create a dynamic & fun atmosphere
Also, my experiences abroad were very formative, including Hanoi (CFC Cultural Centre) in Vietnam and at the French Alliance of Puebla in Mexico. I do not speak Vietnamese but I’m fluent in English and Italian. Also I have some remnants of German, from my Erasmus year in Heidelberg in Germany.
Living in Ramatuelle for the past 12 years, I have had the opportunity to teach people of various ages and nationalities with very different needs and expectations, such as au pairs, students in need of certification to complete a professional goal as well as new residents in France wishing to be independent quickly.
I like to introduce to the students the mechanisms, structures and ambiguities of French that give them a hard time.
Learning a new language is synonymous with sharing between you and me. It’s mutual enrichment.
